Walk Naturally
We developed a unique faux heel to create a zero drop dress shoe that allows your feet to walk flat to the ground like you're barefoot.
Improve Foot Strength
Traditional dress shoes do not allow your feet to move and cause your foot muscles to weaken over time leading to joint pain. OAKAs allow for foot mobility and strengthening from your natural movements.
Professional Silhouette
We developed a shoe mold that gives the typical dress shoe look from the outside but in fact is actually a faux heel derived from special cut outs allowing your foot to stay flat to the ground.
Zero Drop
OAKAs have a zero drop inner sole. What that means is as you walk your feet stay flat to the ground rather than at an angle like with almost all other shoes. Most shoes, not just dress shoes, have a 8mm to 16mm height difference between the toe box and the heel making you walk at an unnatural angle and can contribute to changing your gait, poor posture, shortening the tendons, and foot pain. A zero drop sole allows you to walk more naturally and strengthen your feet over time.
Soft, Breathable Fibers
The whole shoe is soft and flexible for extreme comfort. The upper is made from rPET, upcycled fibers that are sustainable and help reduce production waste.
Slip On
Laces can be necessary but are often just annoying to deal with on a constant basis, so we made the whole shoe an easy slip on.

Inspired by ancient human footprints, the Ababa Outsole is a 4mm ergonomic, hand-stitched sole with a heel wrap and a slight flare. It encourages natural rocking of the heel, promoting barefoot movement and flexibility. The sole features our signature footprint design, inspired by the Laetoli footprints – the oldest preserved human footprints from around 3.7 million years ago. The thin sole design of the Ababa Outsole helps reconnect you with the ground, providing flexibility for strong, healthy feet. Additionally, the tread depth of the sole provides ideal traction, grip, and a sense of connection with the ground.
NO INSOLE:
The shoe does not include an insole, allowing for a full barefoot experience and bringing you even closer to the ground.

It is designed with thin soles to help reconnect you with the ground and provide flexibility for strong, healthy feet. The tread depth refers to the thickness of the patterns or "lugs" on the sole, which are purposefully designed to cater to specific surfaces and conditions and provide traction, grip, and a sense of connection with the ground. The Ababa Outsole features our signature footprint design, inspired by the Laetoli footprints from around 3.7 million years ago.
NO INSOLE
The shoe does not have an insole, which brings you even closer to the ground for the full barefoot experience.

The shoe weighs 186g, based on a single shoe in Women's size: EU 38 | UK 5 | US 7.5. The Vivo fits true to size.

End of Life
Once you can’t repair or don't need them anymore, send us your old Vivos and we’ll make sure they’re given a second life. If they’re really well-loved, we'll store them until we launch our recycling solution. Send us your Vivos.
Product information:
The green minimal shoe, known as the Acti model, is a beloved addition to the Wildling community. It features a cotton upper material in a dense canvas weave sourced from Cotonea's sustainable and transparent supply chain. This upper material is durable and robust.
The lining of the shoe is also made of pure cotton from Cotonea. The creamy white outsole creates a fresh color contrast and is flexible enough for any adventurous activity, whether for small or large feet.

- Upper/Edging: Canvas (100% certified organic cotton) - kiwi green
- Interior lining/Mid-sole: 100% certified organically grown cotton
- Insole: Hemp-flax fleece (50% hemp, 50% flax) [removable]
- Outsole: 60% synthetic rubber containing approximately 33% recycled material, 25% silica, 15% recycled cork - cream
Fit:
The shoe is true to size, as measured using the Fitkit.
Care:
Waterproofing is recommended before the first-time wear. However, it is not necessary to waterproof the entire shoe right out of the box.
To clean soiled shoes, gently knock them together when dry or brush them carefully as needed when dry. Alternatively, you can wipe them with a damp cloth. Please note that the shoes are not machine washable.
It is advisable to remove the insoles from the shoes after use to allow for airing and to prevent moisture build-up. The insoles can be carefully washed by hand and must be completely dry before placing them back in the shoes.
Periodic follow-up waterproofing treatments with a suitable product are recommended. Videos explaining how to care for the shoes can be found on the Wildling Shoes YouTube channel.
Additional notes:
Each shoe is unique and handmade with an upper made from natural materials. Therefore, there may be minor irregularities in the structure and coloration of the shoe. Please note that the hue of the shoe may appear different depending on lighting conditions. Colors may vary when viewed on screens, under artificial home lighting, or in sunlight.
When putting on the shoe, it is advised to widen the opening sufficiently by loosening the laces. This minimizes wear on the material and prolongs the lifespan of the shoe.
