With a 360° fleece lining for warmth, and a non-absorbent water shedding shell that wicks away light moisture, it’s designed to keep you exploring in all conditions. It’s more comfortable and flexible than previous insulated FiveFingers, due to the brushed toe fabric and soft fleece lined collar, tongue and quarter panels. It features a protective film on top of and in between the toes for added protection, while water shedding is facilitated by the non-absorbent Hypatex overlay braces.

The mid-cut and traditional lacing system offers up a casual, sporty look as well. Synthetic fibers within the construction provide mechanical strength and durability.

Vegan Trails have a 7mm sole with a deep traction-building tread pattern across the entire sole. Hard wearing on the toughest trails but also great for leisure-wear. The super-tactile footbed means you are always firmly grounded. Give your feet the space they need. (Black lace stopper also available).

The sole comprises a 2mm footbed made of textured non-slip rubber meaning your foot is firmly planted with each landing. Below this is the tough yet pliable outersole. This gives you outstanding grip, with extra deep block-style lugs, and exceptionally durability.

The Vegan X provides an authentic barefoot experience with secure variable lacing and all-terrain, go anywhere underfoot lugs. The Vegan X is made for you if you're a hardcore trail runner, park runner, herb gardener, Pilates practitioner, barefoot enthusiast, or new age mall cruiser. Wear your Vegan X's for a Saturday morning coffee at a streetside cafe and again for an afternoon technical trail run. Insert your own lacing if you choose and vary the pattern by threading the laces differently through the robust anchor loops. Look ultra cool and actually be barefoot cool too.

The Vegan X has an 7mm sole comprising a 2mm grippy rubber footbed with a durable poly-urethane outersole featuring 4mm deep lugs across the entire sole.

Product Information:

The Vena model is a barefoot shoe with a fresh spring-colored all-over print, making it a special eye-catcher. If you look closely, you can even spot a wild fox in the graphic shapes. The upper material is made from a breathable cotton-linen blend, sourced from Cotonea - a brand committed to organic farming and fair trade. The lining is made of 100% certified organic cotton. The light-colored outsole allows for smooth movement and a conscious feeling of the ground beneath the feet.

The Vena model is true to size, as measured with the Fitkit.

Care:

Before first-time wear, it is recommended to waterproof the edging. This may cause slight darkening of the edging. Waterproofing treatment to the entire shoe is not necessary. The best way to clean soiled shoes is by knocking them together when dry, brushing them carefully as needed when dry, or by wiping them with a damp cloth. Machine washing is not recommended. Insoles should be removed after use for airing and to avoid moisture build-up. They can be carefully hand washed and should be completely dried before putting them back. Periodic follow-up waterproofing treatments are also recommended.

Additional Notes:

Each Vena shoe is handmade and unique, with slight irregularities in structure and coloration. The hue may appear different depending on lighting conditions. It is important to widen the opening of the shoe sufficiently by loosening the laces when putting them on to minimize wear on the material and extend the life of the shoe.
