We have been working on the new Piñatex Premim 1.0 for almost a year and a half, now it is finally here, delivery from January 2020. It is a completely new model, of course with a new robust button, a completely new strap construction, especially worked by our shoemaker and new adhesive process glued under perfect even atmospheric pressure with solvent-free water-based adhesive. Chala Pinatex changes everything because they are made from the first vegan material manufactured from plant fibers (Pineapple leaves, a waste material) which shares many of the desired properties of leather. It is robust, extraordinary, sustainably sourced and absolutely animal free, it is strong, versatile, breathable, soft, lightweight, flexible you can easily imprint it and it can be sown and cut well. The delivery takes place in a very high quality organic cotton gym bag.

If you don't have one, a pencil rubber or household cleaning sponge will be the next best thing. Make sure the rubber is clean from stains itself. Treatment of stubborn stains: If all else fails, use an acidic liquid to break apart clumps of particles and remove stains. We recommend wetting the corner of a dry cloth with a small amount of suede cleaner, white vinegar, or rubbing alcohol. Make sure you don't drench the shoe in liquid, but rather lightly dampen the suede. Massage the shoe with a rapid side-to-side motion, and then allow the suede to dry. If the stain is still visible, repeat the process.

The Sensus Outsole is a 3mm sole with a heel wrap and a slight flare that encourage your heel to naturally rock, helping barefoot movement and flexibility. It features our signature footprint design, inspired by the Laetoli footprints — the oldest preserved human footprints from around 3.7 million years ago. The sole provides an ideal combination of traction, grip, and a sense of connection with the ground.

NO INSOLE:

The shoe has no insole, bringing you even closer to the ground for the full barefoot experience.

For the suede option, use a suede rubber or pencil eraser to remove marks on the surface. For stubborn stains, lightly dampen the suede with suede cleaner, white vinegar, or rubbing alcohol and allow it to dry.
