Finding the right strap tightness has been a challenge, but that doesn't stop me from showing them off everywhere. The soles are just thick enough but also just thin enough. My Earthrunners are the only pair of shoes I own where my feet have zero pain after wearing them and slipping them off."

"I love the boulder boots for winter time. Personally they're just too wide to wear without thick socks and the soles are somewhat thick so I only wear them winter time. But for a big proper boot they are light and flexible so we do love them! (Me and husband both have the leather boulder boots - husband wears his all year round and loves them)."
"They require a teeny bit of breaking in for the ankle to feel confortable. they are not waterproof- the seams leak a little- but i don't mind."

"So comfortable! The most lightweight and flexible winter boot I have ever owned. Bonus it looks awesome. And while I thought I would only wear it as a in between season boot (being in Quebec city, Canada), I was pleasantly surprised to see it actually felt comofrtable up to about minus 20 celcius as long as I was moving in them. They are so flexible that just the movement of the feet keeps them warm even if there isn't lots of insulation (just a thin layer of wool)."
