Our goal is to transform people's lives with footwear that connects them to their body and the world around them. History: One of the founders, Naomi, grew up in Peru loving walking barefoot, so barefoot shoes were a natural fit. Her husband and cofounder, used to wearing bulky construction shoes, was a little more skeptical. However, after a week of wearing barefoot shoes his foot and knee pain decreased drastically leading him to want barefoot shoes for all areas of life.
