This saves resources and contributes to the durability of the lightweight. We owe the fact that the sandal offers great grip with very little material to the so-called windlass mechanism. The latter can work optimally thanks to the strap over the big toe and ensures that the sole is always in contact with the foot. Material Upper: Microfiber (100% polyamide) – coral Mid-sole: Washi (ITOITEX – 75% paper, 25% polyester) Insole: Lunatur (80% EVA, 20% walnut shell) [removable] Outsole: 60% synthetic rubber containing approx. 33% recycled material, 25% silica, 15% recycled cork – off-white with colored speckles Fit Runs a little shorter. Full-grown foot: If the foot ends close to or on the line to a size on the Fitkit , we recommend choosing the next size up. Care Waterproofing before first-time wear This minimal shoe is water-permeable. Consequently, waterproofing is not necessary. Cleaning If the shoes get soiled, it’s best to brush them clean gently when they’re dry or wash them gently by hand. Not machine washable. The upper may rub off onto light-colored fabrics when wet. If this minimal shoe walks through salt water with you, we recommend rinsing it well with fresh water afterwards. We recommend to remove and air the insole daily after wearing. Additional notes Every single shoe is a handmade one of a kind, with an upper made from natural material. The structure and coloration may exhibit minor irregularities. A hue appears different depending on the lighting conditions. That's why colors always look a little different on the screen, in artificial light at home, or outside in sunlight. The upper may rub off onto light-colored fabrics when wet.
