Born To Splay

Born to Splay is a sister owned Arizona boutique founded by Elizabeth and Maria Oloyede. Our experience as certified medical pedicurists sparked a deeper interest in the shoes people wear every day and inspired us to open a store centered on natural movement. We believe footwear should respect the shape of your feet and give your toes room to spread. We offer minimalist shoes and foot health accessories, including toe socks, toe spacers, insoles, and sensory tools. Our Signature Fit Session goes beyond a traditional shoe fitting, combining personalized footwear guidance, functional foot evaluation, gait and posture observation, and pressure plate mapping to help you better understand your feet. We also work with a functional podiatrist and movement specialists to help our community build a stronger foundation through footwear, education, and personalized support. Whether you're new to minimalist footwear or expanding your collection, we help you make informed choices and transition at your own pace.
